James' Obituary

James R. “Jim" "Jamie” Haworth, age 76, passed away peacefully listening to classic rock at his residence in Clarksville, TN, on Monday, September 21, 2026, with his beloved wife, Debra, and loved ones by his side.

Jamie was born on October 9, 1949, to the late Paul E. and Jane C. (Seymour) Haworth. He was born in Lafayette and raised in Monticello, where he was a loving brother to John (Linda) Haworth and Bonnie (the late David) Bogenschutz. Jamie spent much of his life building a career, raising his family, and becoming a familiar and cherished part of the community.

On September 12, 1968, Jamie married the love of his life and best friend, Debra (Dill), with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Together they lovingly raised their three children, James (Tricia Fitzgerald) Haworth, Mark (Jolene) Haworth, and Mary Haworth.

Jamie was a dedicated granddad to Hannah, Jenna, Cora, Sydney, Macy, the late Michael, James "Mickey", Zane, and Brody, a cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and a good friend to many.

Jamie worked in construction for many years. For the 20 years prior to his retirement, he owned and operated Main Street Mall Antiques in Monticello, a place that allowed him to share his love of antiques and his appreciation for the stories and memories behind them.

He will be remembered most of all as a devoted husband, loving father and beloved granddad, and a treasured member of his family and community. His family and friends will carry his memory with them and will cherish the many years and memories they shared with him.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home Monticello. Services will follow at 1:00 pm with burial at IOOF Riverview Cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Arthritis Foundation https://info.arthritis.org/donate-today, in memory of James
