Jean K. Pearson

Jean K. Pearson, 78, of Wolcott, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at her home.

She was born October 21, 1941 in Lafayette to the late Ryland and Lloyd (Troxel) Mathew. She was a graduate of Wolcott High School.

Her marriage was to Norman Pearson on June 12, 1962, he survives. Jean worked at Indiana Ribbon for several years in Wolcott until her retirement. While at home, Jean enjoyed a good book to read.

Surviving along with her husband Norman are their children, Rex, Ryland, Ryan, Jennifer, and Jamie Pearson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Suellen (Mathew) Stanfield.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a sister, Jane Ann Scrimmager and one grandchild.

Visitation hours will be held from 5-8 PM (EST) Friday, December 6, 2019 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. A funeral service is not planned at this time. Inurnment will be held in Wolcott Cemetery at a later date.
