Jeff K. Morgan

Jeffrey “Jeff” K. Morgan, 54, lifelong resident of Brookston, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. He was born July 1, 1969 to the late Robert “Bob” and Marcia (Matthews) Morgan Bailey. Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Frontier High School. 

Jeff was a past member of the Brookston Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed with Arconic, formerly Alcoa since 2011, as a Mobile Equipment Operator. He also farmed part-time and previously worked for Johnson Machine Shop and Wrecker Service for 15 years.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed mushroom hunting in the spring, feeding his hummingbirds daily, camping at the river, and loved his dog, Zelda. He was a talented metal fabricator creating unique art pieces, benches, and wagons.  Above all, Jeff cherished and genuinely loved time spent with his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his two children, Kyle (wife: Brooklin) Morgan of Fowler and Arielle (husband: Jordan) Mann of Avon, IN. Siblings, Bill (wife: Jody) Morgan, Keith (wife: Pat) Morgan, and Rhonda Morgan all of Brookston. Nephews, Will (wife: Beth) Morgan and Weston Morgan of Brookston; niece, Katie (husband: Ryan) Brummet of Otterbein. Jeff is also survived by two granddaughters, Emory Mann, Rosie Mann, and expecting his soon to be third grandchild from Kyle and Brooklin. 

Preceding him in death are his parents, Robert Morgan and Marcia Morgan Bailey. 

Friends may call from 10:00 AM (EDT) until the time of Funeral Service 1:00 PM (EDT) Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Rev. Dr. Lelan McReynolds to officiate. Interment to follow in Brookston Cemetery.
