Jennifer N. (Penrod) Wireman

Jennifer N. "Jenny" Wireman, 52, of Kingman, Arizona passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 24, 2024.

Jenny was born December 2,1971 in Kingman to Pete Penrod and the late Becky Juntunen.  She attended Kingman High School where she was very active in athletics.

After high school Jenny had two boys while married to Justin Berg.  Later in life Jenny met and was married to the late Robert “Bob” Wireman and together also had a son, Derek Wireman.  They moved to Indiana where they lived and raised Derek for the next eighteen years.  Jenny was very active in her Christian faith and was a member of Pisgah Church in Logansport, Indiana.

Jenny was an avid Pioneer Panthers fan where Derek went to school in Royal Center, Indiana; she and Bob loved watching Derek compete in his high school sports, especially the multiple State Championships for the Pioneer Football team.  She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, and gardening.  Jenny and Bob liked working together doing finishing work on houses.  Jenny appreciated her quiet time reading the bible and enjoyed attending the Great Banquet.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a very loyal friend.  

After Bob’s passing, Jenny moved back to Arizona in order to be closer to her family and grandchildren.

Jenny is survived by father, Pete (Jerry) Penrod; her three sons, Tanner (Amanda) Berg, Payane Berg, Derek Wireman (Payton Clapper); her daughter, DeAnna (Ray) Gonzales; an uncle, Doug (Fran) Juntunen; her brothers Derek (Kristen) Penrod, Rick (Brandi) Swanner and her sisters Leora Penrod, Karleen (Brett) Anderson, Katie Swanner (Jeff Dunn), Rebecca (Sam) Wethington, and Marge Swanner.  Jenny loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Bexley, Ryder, Addilynn, Tenzley, Bonnie, Harper, Duane, Jr., and countless other children who she adopted as her own. Jenny is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, family, and friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by her late husband Bob Wireman; her mother, Becky Juntunen; her maternal grandparents, Iris and Stan Juntunen; her paternal grandparents, Elaine Short and Ted Penrod; and a sister Kimberly Cole.

A celebration of Jenny’s life will be held in Arizona at 4 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at New Life Church (419 Harrison Street  Kingman, AZ, 86401).

Visitation back in Indiana will be from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12 p.m. (Noon) Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Pisgah Christian Church (503 North County Road 600 West  Logansport, IN  46947) with family friend, Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating.
