Jerry H. Lapacek

Jerry H. Lapacek, 75, of Francesville, passed away at 8:25 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at St. Elizabeth East of Lafayette.

He was born January 17, 1943 in San Pierre, IN to the late Frank Lapacek Sr. and Zelda Lapacek.

Jerry Attended Medaryville High School. His marriage was to Carol McCormick on July 2, 1977 in Monon; she survives.

Jerry belonged to the Monon Buck Hunting Club and was a past Fraternal Order of Eagles member. He worked for many local factories through the years.

Jerry enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, following the Chicago Cubs, and anything that allowed him to spend time outdoors.

Surviving along with his wife are daughters, Mary (John Hayden) Lapacek of Delphi, Ann (Frank Colvin) Lapacek of Monon, and Julie Hutchins of Kentucky; grandchildren, Julie Lapacek, Robert Colvin, Cheyenne Hutchins, Dakota Hutchins, Kelly Hutchins, and “John John” Hutchins; two great-grandchildren, Cabella and Oakley Snyder. Also surviving are 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a brother, Joe Lapacek.

Friends may call from 11 AM (EST) until the time of Funeral Service 12 PM (EST) Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery of Reynolds.
