Juanita's Obituary
Juanita M. Mosby, 86, of Wolcott, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home.
She was born December 23, 1937 in Robstown, TX to the late Gavino and Juanita (Alaniz) Alvarado.
Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She married the love of her life, Robert E. Mosby on September 2, 1956, in West Lafayette and he survives.
Juanita was a homemaker and loved raising their children as they grew up. She also enjoyed working at Indiana Ribbon of Wolcott.
She enjoyed watching Western movies, spending time with her family, country music, and her roses. She also loved her sweet dog, Baybee.
Surviving along with her husband Robert, are their children, Anthony (Leinette) Mosby, David Mosby, and Thomas Mosby. Caregiver and adopted daughter, Rebecca Gooden. Juanita is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way, numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved dog, Baybee.
Preceding her in death along with her parents is a newborn son and 11 siblings.
Friends may call from 12:30 PM (EST) until the time of Funeral Service 2:00 PM (EST) Friday, January 5, 2024 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. A private interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the family.
