Judith Mae Cobleigh

June 12, 1941 - May 19, 2026

Judith Mae Cobleigh, age 84, passed away May 19, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family . Judith (Judy) was born on June 12, 1941, in Watseka, Illinois, to Arthur William Lowe and Leona May (Madison) Lowe. She graduated from Morocco High School. She married the love of her life, Michael B. Cobleigh, on September 2, 1962.

Judith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was centered on faith, family, and the simple beauty found in everyday moments. Her love for Jesus guided her throughout her life, and she shared that faith through her kindness, strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those around her. She found great joy in growing her flowers, always finding peace and happiness in caring for them. She especially loved geraniums and yellow tulips.

Judith also loved sewing, spending time in nature, and surrounding herself with her favorite color, blue. She carried a special love for Santa Claus and enjoyed collecting anything Santa. She had a joyful spirit, warm heart, and desire to bring happiness to others.

More than anything, Judith treasured her family. She loved playing with her grandchildren and watching them grow, and she never missed an opportunity to tell them how proud she was of each and every one of them and how much she loved them. She also enjoyed journaling and faithfully wrote down her prayers, finding peace and comfort in writing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Michael Cobleigh; her children, Brenda Spiker (Ken) and Jim Cobleigh; her grandchildren, Terry Poindexter, Jamie, Lacey, Katelin, Sarah and Joshua Connor, Kendra, Brandon and Kayleigh Spiker, Michael and Amy Garrison, Joseph and Heather Cobleigh; along with 15 great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Joan Burris, and her sister, Jennie Kellner (Jerry).

Judith was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Glenn and Michael Cobleigh; her sisters, Jean Lasley, Betty Dowty, Nancy Ingram, and Joyce Parker; and her brother, William (Bill) Lowe.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace and is with the Lord and reunited with the loved ones she dearly missed.
