Judith Firkins-McKay, 74, of Remington, passed away on February 27,2020 at her home. She was born August 27, 1945 in Lafayette, IN to the late Willie C. and Lois (Wheeler) Cross.
Her marriage was to LeRoy McKay on February 16, 2005; he survives. Judith was previously married to Howard Firkins until his passing. Judith and Howard had three children, Tim (Cheryl) Firkins of Wolcott, Sherry (Dan) Dillman of Star City, IN, and Tammie (Firkins) (deceased).
Judith worked at 76 Truck Plaza in Remington for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed road trips with LeRoy in the semi and loved providing home cooked meals for family and friends.
Surviving along with her husband and children are her 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren who she adored and loved to spend time wtih; three sisters, and two brothers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Tammie; two grandchildren, Brock and Carlie; brothers Bob Cross, Marvin and Melvin Cross.
Friends may call from 5-7 PM (EST) Monday, March 9, 2020 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Funeral Service 11 AM (EST) Tuesday, March 10, 2020 also at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Palestine Cemetery of Wolcott.
