To say Kacy was a beautiful soul would be an understatement. One of the most caring, genuine and forgiving spirits out there, Kacy was a forever friend to anyone in need.
Kacy was born in Billings, Montana and grew up in the small town of Huntley. She participated in majorettes and volleyball before moving to Indiana and graduating from Tri-County High School. She was an avid artist to the core, with a strong passion for tattooing and jewelry making.
Kacy’s energy could light a room. Her constant selfie smile was contagious, and she could find a good time in literally everything she did. She devoted much of her life to helping others in addiction find a path to a new life.
At the time of her passing, Kacy was studying Criminal Justice at Ivy Tech, with a vision of becoming a Criminal Justice Victim Advocate; true to Kacy’s nature of always putting others before herself. While attending school, Kacy thoroughly enjoyed her current position as a traveling merchandiser.
Kacy is survived by her father, Kim, mother, Lou, younger sister, Kari (Marc), ‘little big sister', Angel (Frank), two sons, Carl Augustus (aka Carl Punkin) (22), Jacob Franklin (aka Jakers) (18), her partner, Nate and many nieces and nephews. She will rejoice in heaven with S-dad Keith (Wolcott), Oma & Opa Heinzelman (Wolcott), and Gma Pat (Billings, MT), along with other friends and family that passed before.
Ceremony for close family and friends will be held at the Baptist Church in Wolcott (307 W. Johnson St.) on Wednesday, August 19th from 3-5p.
We request and welcome all friends to join us at a Celebration of Kacy's Life; date to be announced in the coming weeks.
