Kathryn S. Klinkhamer

Kathryn S. (Woodruff) Klinkhamer, 74, of Brookston, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Aster Place of Lafayette. She was born May 19, 1949 in Lafayette to the late Jack E. and Georgia (Cooksey) Woodruff. Kathryn was a graduate of Lafayette Jeff High School. 

Her marriage of several years was to the love of her life Steve Klinkhamer; and he survives. 

Kathryn was a past member of the Home Ec Club of Brookston. She enjoyed DIY projects, especially building furniture from desks to dressers. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Kathryn’s strong personality and creative outlook will be missed. 

Surviving along with her husband are her two children, Randy “John” Leddon (wife: Tina) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Angi Lowry-Greene (Wife: Nicole) of Battle Ground. Grandchildren, Kendrick McGhee, Chauncey McGhee, Bryson McGhee, Kalissa Gambrel, Kaz Gambrel, Jordan Leddon, Naomi Gambrel, Sydney Leddon, and Casey Lowry-Greene. Kathryn is also survived by two siblings, Debra Walter (husband: Thomas) of Walkerton, IN and Jack Woodruff of North Judson, IN. 

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a daughter, Kristina Gambrel and two sisters, Janice Woodruff and Carol Fausett.
