Kenneth Edward Hughes

January 12, 1958 - July 26, 2022

Kenneth Edward Hughes, 64, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born January 12, 1958 in Lafayette to the late Kenneth H. Sr. and Joann F. (Burks) Hughes.

Kenneth proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. He was a former member of the Chalmers Community Church. Kenneth held various jobs throughout his life in different regions and most recently was employed with Konecranes of Huntington specializing in sales. In his spare time, Kenneth was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Hughes of Huntington, WV; children, Amie Hughes of Lafayette, Amber Hughes of Lafayette, Kenneth Hughes III (wife: Kiera) of Lafayette, Kirk Hughes (wife: Sierra) of Monon, and Matthew Hughes (wife: Kenzie) of Goodland. Brother, Thomas Hughes (wife: Trudy) of Brookston. Kenneth is also survived by many grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a son, Kody Hughes and brother, Billy Hughes.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM (EDT) Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home (101 West 4^th Street, Brookston, IN 47923). Private burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
