Kimberly Annette Imus

May 31, 1967 - January 25, 2026

Kimberly Imus, 58, of Idaville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her home and the love of her family.

Born on May 31, 1967, in Monticello, Kimberly was the beloved daughter of the late Eugene “Gene” Shively and Candace Anita Walters. She was a proud graduate of Twin Lakes High School, class of 1985.

On August 23, 1986, Kimberly united in marriage with the love of her of life, Clarence Imus, at the Idaville Church of God. Together they built a life rooted in family, spending her years in Monticello and Idaville that she dearly loved.

Kimberly had a heart for people and a gift for connection. She found joy in helping with the Idaville Daily Drop on Facebook. She dedicated many years of service working at Kmart and later a manager at the HPA in Monon, where she was known for her strong work ethic and caring nature.

A true lover of the outdoors, Kimberly found peace in gardening, camping, fishing and watching eagle nests-simple joys that reflected her appreciation for God’s creation. Above all else, her greatest joy was being a grandma. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her presence brought warmth, laughter, and comfort to all who knew her.

Along with her husband Clarence, she leaves behind her loving sons, Jeremy Imus (wife, Aubri) of Monticello, Chris Imus (Ashlyn) of Idaville; siblings, Holly Jo Walters (wife, Kristy King) of Colorado, Cody Shively (companion, Mary Yerks) of Idaville and Deb Simmons (husband, Scott) of Idaville; grandchildren, Matthew, Clara, Sawyer and Lane.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Spangler; uncle, Richard Shively and paternal grandmother, Wilhelmina Louise Shively.

A celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held at a later time, when hearts are ready and loved ones can come together to remember her with smiles, stories, and the joy she gave.
