Lucinda M. "Cinda" Million

Lucinda M. “Cinda” Million, 59, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello.

 

Born on December 5, 1965, in Lafayette, Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of the late Douglas Million and Mary M. “Peg” (Paul) Jay. From the beginning, Cinda carried a bright, joyful spirit that touched everyone she met.

 

Cinda was deeply involved in the Special Olympics and Aktion Club in Monticello. She attended Pike Creek Church, Lake Shafer Christian Center and Faith Covenant Fellowship, where she was surrounded by faith, friendship and love. She also found great purpose in participating in Day Services at Lirio Resources, where her kindness and warm presence made every day brighter for others.

 

She treasured life’s simple joys- a lively game of Uno, the music of Michael Jackson, hours spent coloring or making crafts, and the pure delight of a McDonald’s cheeseburger and diet coke. Her infectious laugh filled rooms, lifting spirits and reminding those around her what it meant to be truly joyful.

 

Cinda leaves behind a family who cherished her deeply: David Charles (wife Denise) of Monticello; Laurie Bowman (husband, Cary) of Monticello; Kristie Mishler (husband, Kevin) of Bloomington, Ind.; Julie Ramey ( husband, Dave) of Martinsville, Ind.; Adam Charles (wife, Amanda) of Monticello and Debbie Duvall of Idaville. She is also treasured in the hearts of Mikayla, Jeff, Erica, Tessa, as well as four half-siblings and many cousins.

 

In addition to her parents & grandparents, Cinda was predeceased by her step-father, Russell Jay.

 

Visitation will be held at the Fred L. Miller Memorial Chapel of the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home in Monticello, on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service.

 

Burial will take place at The Brick Church Cemetery in Hagerstown, Indiana at a later date.
