Marjorie's Obituary
Marjorie A. (Steele) Selby, 82, lifelong resident of Monon, passed away with her daughter by her side on Sunday, March 17, 2024. She was born January 10, 1942 in Monon to the late George and Marjorie (Page) Steele. She was a graduate of Monon High School.
Her marriage was to Larry G. Selby on December 6, 1965 in DeMotte. Larry preceded her in death on January 21, 2018.
Marjorie worked as a custodian at North White Schools for several years until her retirement in 2007. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Larry and Marjorie attended many sporting events of the grandkids and loved babysitting whenever they had the opportunity.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Denise (Jose) Valdizon of Monon; grandchildren, Chandelle, Andre, and Arianna. One brother, Larry Steele of Monon and she is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents is a son, Jeff Selby and brother, George “Butch” Steele Jr.
Per Marjorie’s wishes, no public services will be held.
