Mark A. Steinmetz

Mark Allen Steinmetz, 59, of Monticello, passed away at 6:50 pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Monticello Health Care.

  Mark was born July 2, 1965, in Lafayette to Jerry D. and Cettie A. (Rodgers) Denton and attended Twin Lakes High School.

  Mark worked as a laborer for a landscape company for many years.  He also worked at the Honda Factory and for SUS in Logansport.

  Mark enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.  He loved to fish, watch action movies and was a huge Rusty Wallace NASCAR fan.  Mark was always on the move and loved spending time visiting others.

  Surviving with his parents Jerry and Cettie are his siblings, Lisa Zinc (Terry), Belinda Riddle (Timothy), Anetta Denton (Tom), Dale Denton (Christine), Kirk Denton (Bobbi), Aimee Kilburn (John) and Steve Denton (Chris).  Mark loved spending time with his family, especially his children, Marcus, Ashley, Leann, Reasha, Kimee, Erica, Jacob and Tasha and his many grandchildren.

  Friends may visit from 11am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston.
