Minnie's Obituary
Minnie Rose (Christensen) Rayburn, 97 of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 4, 2025.
She was born in Monon, Indiana on November 1, 1927, the 7th of 8 children of Lulu Bessie (Helfrich) Christensen and Harry Chris Christensen.
Her brothers and sisters all passed before her: Jim, George Russell (Rut), Lulu M (Luo), Robert (Bob), Elizabeth (Betty), Mary Jane and Don.
On April 23, 1950, she married Norman Earl (Bud) Rayburn. He passed away October 15, 2002.
She is survived by her children: Debra (Deb) Miller and Doug Rayburn, her grandchildren: Alicia, Matthew (Matt), Alexandra (Alex) and Kate. Three great-grandchildren: Lilah Rose Miller and Opheliah Jade Fern Spillar, Granger Nelson Miller. Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Fred L. Miller Memorial Chapel at the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home in Monticello, from 1:00pm until time of services celebrating Minnie's life at 3:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Hughes Cemetery in Monticello, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Traders Point Christian Church (specify children in memory of Minnie Rayburn).
