Morna's Obituary
Morna P. Pass, 93, formerly of Monon, passed away at 10:20 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Creasy Springs Healthcare, where she had resided since 2019. She was born May 27, 1932, to Harry and Stella Ziemer. A graduate of Monon High School, Class of 1950; she married Delos Pass on May 3, 1952, at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds, where she was a member for over 70 years. They were married for 63 years until his death in 2015.
She worked at various jobs, most recently as a custodian for North White School Corporation. Morna enjoyed reading, playing cards, polka music and traveling to Florida and Wisconsin to visit friends and family. Her pride and joy, however, were her five children: Debra (Terry) Haas, Laurie (Curt) Griffin, Steve (Deanna) Pass, Ken Pass, Karen (Jeff) Kroll and 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Morna was happiest when surrounded by any and all of them.
She has one surviving brother, Ray (Shirley) Ziemer.
Besides her husband and parents, a sister, (Eleanor) Jean Wienke and two brothers, Lyle and Art Ziemer are deceased.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. James Lutheran Church (110 N. Kenton St. Reynolds, IN 47980); Rev. Andrew Keller to officiate. Interment to follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, rural Reynolds. Food and fellowship will follow at the church after the service.
Memorials may be given in her memory to the Monon Public Library or St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds.
