Patricia J. Keller, 79, of Chalmers, passed away at 3:49 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at IU Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette.
She was born November 10, 1938, in Cedar Falls, IA to the late Ben Laurel and Blanche Gertrude (Clayton) Shea. Patricia was a graduate of Wilton Junction High School of Iowa.
Her marriage was to Michel “Mike” Keller on February 1, 1987, in Gaston, IN; he survives. Patricia was a long time member of the Order of the Eastern Star serving as District Deputy in 1999 for District 16, Dayton Chapter. Patricia worked for Purdue University as a secretary in the Purchasing Department until her retirement.
In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed playing piano, sewing, crocheting, and many other crafts.
Surviving along with her husband Mike are children, Steve Reinhardt of California, Kathy Reinhardt of West Lafayette, IN, David (wife: Karen) Reinhardt of Lafayette, IN, Lorelei Mancini of West Lafayette, IN, Kelly (husband: Shawn) High of Brookston, IN, Karla (husband: Peter) Elliott of Fishers, IN, Charles Keller of Mulberry, IN, John (wife: Eydie) Keller of Colorado, and Elizabeth (husband: Barry Lehrman) Keller of California. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death along with her parents is a sister, Clara Belle Humston.
Friends may call from 4 PM (EST) until the time of Funeral Service 7 PM (EST) Monday, October 15, 2018, at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
