Paul's Obituary
Paul D. List, 64, of Brookston, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at St Elizabeth Healthcare Center of Delphi. He was born September 13, 1959 in Monticello to Carita (Hughes) List and the late Henry J. List.
Paul was a 1977 graduate of Frontier High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1977 until his honorable discharge in 1981.
His marriage was to Jo Del Scruggs on June 12, 1983 at the United Methodist Church in Brookston and she survives.
Paul was a past member of the American Legion Post 251. He worked 21 years for Lehe Farms as head swine herdsman. Paul eventually retired due to his health.
Paul enjoyed dart league with his wife, woodworking, camping, was a motorhead, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving along with his wife, Jo Del List and mother, Carita List are his children, Maegan Misch of Brookston and Keith List of Monticello. Four grandchildren, Sophie, Wyatt, Izak, and Owen. Paul is also survived by a sister, Donna (Abel) Gaeta of Lafayette.
Preceding him in death along with his father is a brother, Eric List.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
