Charles Richard "Dick" Foutch, 85 of Monticello, Indiana passed away at 11:13 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side.
Dick was born on Tuesday, June 1, 1937, in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Charles Avery and Helen Annette (Guntrip) Foutch.
On Saturday, June 15, 1957, in the Wolcott Christian Church in Wolcott, Indiana, he married Dorothy I. McClure; she survives.
A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023, at Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, with Pastor Jason Metzinger of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren of Monticello, Indiana, officiating.
Burial will be Private for the family.
Biographical Information:
Dick was born and raised in the Chalmers, Indiana, area, then moved to the Wolcott, Indiana, area. He had lived and farmed in the rural Monticello, Indiana, area for the last fifty – five years. Dick had worked at the former Kenny Implement of Monticello, Indiana, and the former Conagra of Yeoman, Indiana, for several years. He was an active member of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren of rural Monticello, Indiana. He had served in the Indiana National Guard for five years. Dick loved gardening and fishing. He was known to be out on the farm. Dick especially loved tinkering with the go-carts making sure his grandkids always had a great time being home with family.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to Miller- Roscka Funeral Home 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, IN 47960.
