Robert "Bob" Bell

 Robert (Bob) Lee Bell, age 81, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on July 1, 2025. Born in Morocco, Indiana on August 13, 1943 he was a graduate of Remington High School. He was a loving husband to Paula for 60 years. He was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. 

He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch his Hoosiers, Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. One of the few fans to live long enough to see all three win a championship. He loved to play softball, Golf and throw darts with his family and friends.  He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Rensselaer Indiana for many years.

Bob was deeply loved by his family he is survived by his sister's Judy luck of Remington and Betty Litner of Rensselaer, Children Kelly (Rusty) Demoss of Rensselaer Tony (Amie) Bell of Ball Ground Georgia, Chris (Robin) Bell of Kentland Indiana, Jenny (Jason) Armold of Rensselaer Indiana, Grandchildren Doug ( Tammy) DeMoss Justin and (Ashley) DeMoss, Christopher Bell, Ryne (Paige) Bell Kimberly (Joseph) Echema, Timothy Fleming,Janelle Fleming, Courtney (Brendan) Dunleavy, Peyton (Shane) Jorgensen and Blake Bell Great-grandchildren Taylor DeMoss, Alisa Demoss, Cameron DeMoss, Ethan DeMoss, Gage Demoss, Xavier Demoss, Myia Demoss, McKayla Beverly, Noah Aldana, Charlotte Pluto, Ava Bell, Haley Bell, Allie Bell, Owen Bell, Kiobe Echema, Khaya Echema. Great great grandchildren Casey Harmon, Lexi Harmon and Wells Donleavy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Cleora Bell, brother Gene Bell and his wife Mary, sister Patty Justice and her husband Ken. Grandchildren Bo DeMoss, Skylar DeMoss, Avery Bell and Tristen Bell. 

Bob and his witty humor will be missed by all his family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM (CST) Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles located in Rensselaer. All are welcome to join.
