Robin Doyle

Robin D. Doyle, 65, of Oxford, passed away on April 9, 2023 at IU Health Hospital of Lafayette. He was born August 23, 1957 in Rensselaer to the late Bernard and Clara (Delaney) Doyle. Robin was a 1976 graduate of South Newton High School.

His marriage was to Deborah Koch on May 14, 1983 and they would later divorce.

Robin lived in Newton County for most of his life and Benton County for the last 12 years. He was a past member of the Oxford Lions Club and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland.

He drove a truck several years for Larry and Mim Miller of Kentland and Hetricks Trucking of West Lebanon. He also worked as an equipment operator for the Rogers Group.

Robin loved watching NASCAR, going to truck shows in Kentucky, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Katrina (Jarrod) Swoveland, Justin Doyle (fiancé: Noke), and Jessica Doyle. One brother, Don Doyle of Morocco, IN. Six grandchildren, Jaxson Doyle, Isabelle Swoveland, Brianna Swoveland, Jonathon Lawrence, Lacy Guinn, and Brittany Swoveland. 3 great-grandchildren, Jade Guinn, Myla Guinn, and Paxton. Robin is preceded in death by his parents.

All friends and family of Robin Doyle. As you are all aware, on April 9th, Robin passed away suddenly.  We all want to give everyone the opportunity for a celebration of life this coming Saturday (April 15, 2023) at Remington Park at noon (eastern time) this event will be a carry in. Drinks will be supplied by us. If you have friends and family that do not have Facebook, please spread the word. Anyone that knew Robin is more than welcomed to attend this event! You know he loved reunions and we can think of no better way to celebrate his life the way he would have wanted it.
