R. Allan Sharkey

R. Allan Sharkey, 69, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Speedway, Indiana, passed on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at North Shore University Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.

He was born on January 1, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Roger and Gladys F. (Beamer) Sharkey. Allan was a graduate of Speedway High School. He attended Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in accounting.

Allan was a Certified Public Accountant and was Treasurer for Regional Transportation Authority in Chicago, Illinois. He retired in February 2017.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Taylor Sharkey.
