Ronald D. Wenrick

Ronald D. Wenrick, 73, of Monon, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Franciscan Health Hospital of Rensselaer. Born on July 26, 1951, in Rensselaer to the late Robert and Geneva (Yeoman) Wenrick, Ronald attended Monon High School. He married Janet Eide on April 30, 1977, and they shared many years together until her passing on January 22, 2015.

Ronald dedicated 18 years of his career to Monon Trailer as a welder and millwright and later owned and operated Midwest Systems for 20 years. He had a passion for traveling, particularly enjoying trips to Michigan, and cherished spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Matt Wenrick of Monon, Cody Wenrick of Monon, and Riley (Jon) Ewing of Remington; his grandchildren, Austin Wenrick, Taylor Miller, and twins Arlo and Aella Ewing. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy (Sara) Wenrick of Monon, Tom (Tina) Wenrick of Rensselaer, Lynn Wilson of Logansport, and David Wenrick of Florida.

Preceding him in death, along with his parents and wife, is his brother, Robert “Bob” Wenrick and brother-in-law, Dan Wilson

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM (EST) on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon.
