Russell E. Allison

Russell E. Allison, 84, of West Lafayette, IN passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Russell was proceeded in death by his wife, Barbara Allison. They were married for 65 years. He worked at Purdue University grounds department for 40 years. He called his job, “The best hobby I ever had.”; because of his passion for the outdoors and gardening. Russell’s passion for photography and birds was known by many in the community.

Russell is survived by his daughter, April Swick (Jim) of West Lafayette, IN. Russell was blessed with three granddaughters, his great-grandchildren and his dearly loved grand-dog, Tilly.

Russell requested no services.
