Sharon G. Hardebeck

Sharon G. Hardebeck, 83, of Wolcott, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her home. She was born May 3, 1940 in East Chicago, IL to the late Russell and Myrtle (Windler) Thompson. Sharon was a 1958 graduate of Beaverville High School in Illinois. 

Her marriage was to Donald Hardebeck on June 10, 1961 in St. Mary Catholic Church of Dunnington, IN and he survives. 

Sharon was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington. She loved animals, trees, shopping, and time spent with her loved ones. 

She is survived by her son, Ross (Kim) Hardebeck of Wolcott. Two sisters, Carol Scheurich of Lafayette and Barb (Dennis) Sondgerath of Fowler; one brother-in-law, Max Garriott. Three grandchildren, Brock (Erica) Hardebeck, Kyra (Curt) Roberts, and Dane (Brooke) Hardebeck. Sharon is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Beck and Jett Roberts. 

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a sister, Marilyn Garriott. 

Friends may call from 9:30 – 10:45 (EDT) Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington. Funeral Service to follow visitation at 11:00 AM (EDT). Fr. Joshua Bennett to officiate. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sharon to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
