Shawn Charles Hayden

Shawn C. Hayden, 51, of Monticello, Indiana died unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2023, at his residence.

Shawn was born on Sunday, October 8, 1972, in Monticello, Indiana to Linda Joan (Hayden) Taff and Charles R. Williams. They both preceded him in death.

Shawn was a 1991 graduate of Twin Lakes High School. He had lived in the Monticello and Reynolds area his entire life.  He was known for his great outdoors lifestyle. Shawn loved to go fishing, hunting, and camping. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Shawn is survived by his brother, Joseph (wife Jocelyn) Taff of Pine Village, Indiana, nieces and nephews, Haylie Armstrong, Cierra Cory, Breanna Cory, and Kyra Cory; great nephew Calum Joe Robbins; aunts and uncles, Brenda (husband Harry) Brooks of Reynolds, Indiana, William "Bill" (wife Cecile) Hayden of Lafayette, Indiana, Tammy (husband Ronald "Ron") Baunach of Reynolds, Indiana, Lisa (husband Roger) Woods of Winterhaven, Florida; cousin and fishing buddy, William DeWitt and several other cousins, and friends. 

Shawn was preceded in death by his mother, Linda J. Taff; father, Charles R. Williams.

Private family services will be conducted at a later date, no visitation or public services are scheduled at this time.

Memorial donations may be given to family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana C/O Hayden Family.
