Steven's Obituary
Steven H. Klinkhamer, 81, of Brookston, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Wesley Manor of Frankfort. Born on June 14, 1944, in Lafayette to the late Andy and Ruth (Hartman) Klinkhamer, Steve was a graduate of Frontier High School. He shared a loving marriage with Kathryn S. Woodruff, who preceded him in death on April 16, 2024.
Steve was a dedicated member of the Teamsters Union, driving for UPS for many years until his retirement. After retiring, he enjoyed bartending at the Top Notch in Brookston. Steve had a passion for golf, classic cars, and attending local basketball games at Frontier. He was an exceptional dad, grandpa, and friend, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathryn, and their cherished Chihuahua, Onyx.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston.
