Steven's Obituary
Steven B. Morgan, 76, of Brookston, passed away at 12:49 AM, October 28, 2022 at IU Health Arnett of Lafayette, IN. He was born on October 15, 1946 in Catron, MO. to J.L. and Mary (Ellis) Morgan. He graduated in 1965 from Rensselaer High School.
His marriage was to Helen Morrow on January 22, 1966 in Rensselaer, IN. She survives. Steven served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 and was stationed in Korea during Vietnam. He lived most of his adult life in Brookston and was a member of the American Legion Post #251. Steven was a Postal Carrier in Brookston for 25 years.
Steven enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, camping and boating. More than anything else he loved spending time with his family.
Surviving along with his wife are children, Judy Culver of Indianapolis, Daryl Morgan of Brookston, Steven (Bernadette) Morgan Jr. of Brookston; siblings Brenda Hawkins of Rochester, Nina Green of Lafayette, Linda Powell of Wolcott, Judy Johnson of Rochester, Vicki (Jim) Pinkerton of Wolcott, Sherry Morgan of Lafayette; grandchildren Kaleb Culver, Natasha Baker, Dylan Harvey, Brandon Morgan, and Kyle Camp; and 7 great grandchildren, Lilah, Leeland, Linkin, Fisher, Maren, Brooklyn, and Giddeon.
Preceding in death are brothers J.L. Morgan Jr. and Wayne Morgan.
Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston. Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds to officiate. Interment to follow at Dobbins Cemetery of Wolcott.
