Teresa L. Slattery

Teresa L. Slattery, 57, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with her daughter by her side. Born on November 2 1967, she was the beloved daughter of the late William T. and Phyllis (Polen) Ferrell. 

Teresa was a woman who was supportive and the biggest cheerleader for all of her friends and family. She enjoyed ice fishing, golfing, going on a monthly dinner with her sisters and friends and never missed an episode of her favorite shows, Chicago Fire, Med and PD. She sure loved her quarter pounders and pizza! She spent lots of time with her loyal fur companion Bootsy Malone. she was loved by so many.

She leaves behind her daughter, Jessica Slattery (Josh), stepdaughters Kim Slattery (Mark) and Colleen Slattery (Brandon). Also survived by sisters, Kathy LaReau Burns (Thomas), Martha Biggs, and her niece and nephews. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Braxton Marco and Sadie Marco whom she loved dearly. 

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael, four brothers: Mark, Dan, Gary, David, and her grandson Raiden.
