Tracey J. Robbins

Tracey J. Robbins, 56, of Kentland, passed away surrounded by family on August 3, 2024 at her home. She was born February 14, 1968 to Rex and Jo Ann (Raby) McCormick. Tracey was a 1986 graduate of South Newton High School. Following high school, Tracey received her LPN degree from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette.

Her marriage was to the love of her life, Mark Robbins on February 18, 1997 at the Raub United Methodist Church and he survives.

Tracey lived in the Kentland area for the majority of her life but did live in Germany for a short time.

Tracey was a LPN at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Kentland nursing home, George Ade of Brook, Green Hill Manor of Fowler, Rensselaer Care Center, and Sycamore Springs of Lafayette. The last few years she worked at MedMark Treatment Center in Lafayette.

She enjoyed working with flowers and spending time with her family, especially her boys and grandchildren.

Surviving along with her husband are her four boys, Cameron Reid of Chicago, Drew and Dylan Robbins of Lafayette and Kentland, and Justin Robbins of Waveland. One daughter, Heather (Chris) McKinney of Lafayette. Siblings, Stacey Ricksy of Lafayette and Brad (Jessica) McCormick of Kentland. Tracey is also survived by her two grandchildren, Harper and Caisyn McKinney.

Tracey is preceded in death by her father, Rex McCormick, and her daughter, Courtney Reid.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
