Celebrating the Life of
Travis Allen Coonrod, 19, of Idaville, Indiana, died on Friday, September 15, 2023, unexpectedly from an automobile accident.
Travis was born on Wednesday, August 11, 2004, in Logansport, Indiana to Travis L. Coonrod and Jennifer M. Weaver. They both survive.
Travis attended Twin Lakes, North White and Pioneer High Schools. He was always on the farm and loved working on trucks. Travis and his dad were right in the middle of building his square body Chevy Truck. Travis could be found hanging out around the fire with his friends (whom he called family). He loved fishing and being on the water. Travis loved going to the tractor pulls with his dad.
Travis is survived by his father, Travis L. Coonrod of Idaville, Indiana; mother, Jennifer M.(husband Justin) Lucas of Buffalo, Indiana; sister, Taylor (husband Jude) Rutledge of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; brother, Zachary Coonrod of Idaville, Indiana, paternal grandparents; Ron and Patty Coonrod of Idaville, Indiana; maternal grandparents; William and Nancy Weaver of Burnettsville, Indiana, and Beverly Lucas of Monticello, Indiana; aunts and uncles; Coonie (wife Mary) Coonrod of Idaville, Indiana, Joe Coonrod of Monticello, Indiana, Adam (wife Caroline) Coonrod of Idaville, Indiana, Libby (husband Matt) Schloss of Evansville, Indiana, Billy (wife KayLa) Weaver of Idaville, Indiana, Stacia (husband Mike) White of Thornhope, Indiana, Joe (wife Aubrie) Lucas of Monticello, Indiana, and Brittany (husband Todd) Toole of Monticello, Indiana; several cousins and friends.
Travis was preceded in death by his aunt, Heather Weaver, grandfather, Ricki Lucas.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Buffalo Christian Church of Buffalo, Indiana.
Celebration of life service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Buffalo Christian Church with Rev. Harold Rutledge officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bell Center Cemetery of rural Monticello (Idaville), Indiana.
