Troy Miller

Troy Miller, 50, of Kentland, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center of Joliet, IL.

He was born January 3, 1972, in Brook, Indiana to Fredrick Miller and Sally Miller. Troy was a graduate of South Newton High School’s Class of 1990.

Troy worked for Hart Industries for 17 years. He enjoyed spending his free time surrounded by family and close friends, doing activities such as fishing, attending concerts and watching movies with his daughters, collecting memorabilia from his favorite movies, and listening to music with his best friends. Troy always offered a helping hand to anyone in need and consistently put others before himself. He always believed in the bonds of family and kept in touch with as many family members as possible. Troy could light up any room he entered, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

He is survived by his daughters, Jayd and Cheyenne Calvillo; father and stepmother, Fred and Carolyn Miller; brothers, Jon (Lori) Miller and Kenneth Scott (Connie) Miller; stepsiblings, Jeff (Stacy) Casper, Jennifer (Bruce) Wolfe, and Jessica (Michael) Largent-Etter. Troy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Troy is preceded in death by his loving mother, Sally Miller.
