Viola M. Luse, 81, of Monon, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 10, 2022. She was born July 30, 1940 in Marshall County, IN to the late Charles C. and Helen L. (Smith) Rodgers. Viola was a 1958 graduate of West Township High School.
Her marriage was to Allen Dwayne Luse on April 1, 1958 in Lakeville, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2018.
Viola was a bank teller for Wells Fargo of Monon until her retirement. She enjoyed planting flowers, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two children, Donald A. Luse of Grover Town, IN and Donna Luse of Monon. Two siblings, Phyllis Reinhold of Culver and Ken Rodgers of Plymouth. Grandchildren, Tasha Luse of Monon, Austin Luse of Koontz Lake, IN, and Quinn Luse of Grover Town, IN. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Chantz McCutcheon of Monon, Braylee and Kinlee Luse both of Koontz Lake, IN.
Preceding her in death along with her father and mother is a brother, Melvin Rodgers.
Friends may call from 11-1 PM (EST) Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. A graveside service will be held following visitation in New Oak Hill Cemetery of Plymouth, IN. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
Memorial contributions may be made in Viola’s name to the American Cancer Society.
