William Preston Sharp

William Preston “Will” Sharp, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his residence. Born on October 30, 1997, he was the beloved son of J. Andrew and the late Shana Jade (Sharp) Montgomery.

Will attended Taylor High School in Texas and later moved to Indianapolis, where he worked various jobs before relocating to Louisville in August 2023. In Louisville, he was employed by UPS at the airport and also worked for a friend at Big O Tires.

Will had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed playing video games, especially Pokémon Go, Fallout, Diablo, and Starfield. He cherished the time spent with his fiancé Brittany and his son Axel.

He is survived by his father, J. Andrew Sharp (wife Julie) of Indianapolis; his fiancé, Brittany Vincent of Louisville, KY; his son, Axel Bruce Sharp; his maternal grandparents, Phylis Condo (husband Les) of Monticello; his uncle, Tom Sharp ( wife,Stephanie) of Massachusetts; aunt, Angie Montgomery and numerous cousins, including Perry Sharp, Devinne Murphy, Alexander Sharp, Leo Sharp and Conchita Rodriguez. He is also survived by his step-grandmother, Carol Montgomery of Indianapolis.

Will was preceded in death by his mother, Shana Jade Montgomery; his brother, Robert Clinton “Rob” Sharp; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Joyce Sharp; and his grandfather, William Montgomery.

Friends and family may call on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1pm until the time of funeral services at 4pm at the Fred L. Miller Memorial Chapel of the Roscka Roth & Clapper Funeral Home in Monticello.

Interment will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Riverview IOOF Cemetery in Monticello.
