Obituary
Michael Farrell, 86 of Goodland Indiana passed away 30 Nov 2022. He was born in Goodland, Indiana 21 May 1936 to the late Herbert and Grace Farrell. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Anne Lorraine Farrell (Baggs). They were married in St Johns, NFL on Sept 17, 1956. Also preceded in death and his siblings, Marjorie (Kiifner) Farrell, Richard Farrell, and Daniel Farrell.
He leaves 5 children, Karen Langdon (Jim) of Delphi Ind., Steve Farrell (Roberta) of Earl Park, Ind., Dan Farrell (Donna) of North Pole AK., John Farrell of Goodland Ind., and Joseph Farrell of Columbia MD.
Mike had 6 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. He was uncle to nieces and nephews in Indiana, Illinois, Florida, and Newfoundland Canada.
Mike earned the rank of Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and served for 24 years as a Communication Technician/Superintendent. After retirement, he worked at Viscase Corp in Kentland, retiring in May 1998. He loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, doing puzzles, and traveling with his late wife.
A private family service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Private Interment will follow in Goodland Cemetery with military honors.
