Obituary
Rhonda Lee Hampton - Luse, 61 of Monticello, Indiana, died very unexpectedly on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 3:08 a.m. in the IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Indiana.
Rhonda was born on Sunday, December 03, 1961, in White County Memorial Hospital of Monticello, Indiana to William J. "Bill" Hampton, Jr. and Beverly Ann "Bev" Ware. She survives.
In December 2002, she married D. Joseph "Joe" Luse. He survives.
Rhonda was born and raised in Monticello, Indiana and was a 1980 graduate of the Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana. So, following high school she had worked for the Monticello Herald Journal and moved up to Chicago to be a nanny. Rhonda will be most remembered for working for the Monticello BMV for over thirty years. She was a member of the Monticello Christian Church and the Monticello Kiwanis Club. Rhonda enjoyed traveling, being with her family, loved the fall season, and her favorite flower was most definitely the sunflower. She loved going to the winery and being with her friends. Rhonda loved her dogs Bee-Bee and Chance. Rhonda's most recent adventure was a trip Cabo San Lucas with her best friend Sherry, and she truly enjoyed touring the mountains of Virginia.
Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Clarissa A. (husband Derek) Disinger of Monticello, Indiana, mother, Beverly Ann "Bev" Ware of Monticello, Indiana, brothers, Dwayne (wife Joanne) Hampton of Monticello, Indiana and Scott (wife Crystal) Hampton of Roanoke, Virginia, sisters-in-law, Linda Wilmot and Debbie (husband Ron) Posch both of Monticello, Indiana, nephews, Drew (wife Kelsey) Hampton, Sean (Morgan) Hampton, Kasey Hampton, great niece and nephew Chandler and Gannon Hampton, and several other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Hampton, maternal grandparents, Lillian and William Ware, paternal grandparents, William and Lois Hampton, brother-in-law, Wayne Wilmot.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m., at the Monticello Christian Church (105 Gordon Rd. Monticello, Indiana 47960). Due to construction can only be accessed from the West off of Gordon Rd.
Celebration of life services will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana, with Rev. Benji Riddle officiating.
Private family burial.
