Gary L. Pearson

    Gary L. Pearson, 65, of Monticello, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his residence. 

    Gary was born on Saturday, September 21, 1957, in Lafayette, Indiana to Vernon Pearson and Gerry (Dunn) Pearson, they preceded him in death.

    Gary was raised in Monon, Indiana.  He was a graduate of the North White High School of Monon, Indiana.  Gary has lived out at Lakewood on Lake Shafer for the past thirty plus years.  He had worked at the McGills for the past forty years.  Gary could be found around the park helping his neighbors and friends.  Gary was known for his 4th of July ham and beans and having a good time. He spent countless hours cruising around the park on his golf cart. Gary also enjoyed going to his nieces and nephews ball games.

    Gary is survived by his children, Jara Pearson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason Price of Indianapolis, Indiana; siblings, James Pearson of Gulfport, Florida, Molly Pearson of Lafayette, Indiana, Don Pearson of Florida, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

    Gary is preceded by his parents, Vernon & Gerry (Dunn) Pearson, and a sister, Linda Pearson.

    Gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m., here at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

    Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, with his nephew, Brian Pearson leading services.
