Celebrating the Life of Maria TInkle
Maria J. Tinkle, 60 of Monticello, Indiana went to be with her lord at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Maria was born on Thursday, October 11, 1962, in Monticello, Indiana, she was born to Raymond Tatlock and Hazel (Lowe) Marzke. They both preceded her in death.
On July 30, 2005, in Monticello, Indiana she married Mark A. Tinkle. He survives.
Maria was born and raised in Monticello, Indiana graduating in 1981 from the Twin Lakes High School. She had worked around the Monticello area all of her life, most knowing her from B&K Hotdog stand, Indiana Beach, and Rocky's Pizza. She loved and spent many of her winters with her brother and sister in Texas. Maria was a member of the former Moose Lodge and attended the Faith Covenant Fellowship Church both of Monticello, Indiana. Maria loved to travel, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Maria is survived by her husband, Mark A. Tinkle of Monticello, Indiana, daughters, Julie A. (husband Tommy) Prophet of Monticello, Indiana, Mandy (husband Joshua) David of Monticello, Indiana, and Abigail Clifford of Monticello, Indiana, son, Matthew Tinkle of Minot, North Dakota, Eleven (11) grandchildren, three (3) great-grandchildren, two (2) sisters, and three (3) brothers, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Tatlock, and Hazel (Lowe) Marzke.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
Celebration of life service will follow the viewing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana with Pastor Bill Tolley officiating.
A private family burial will be held.
Memorial donations may be given to the family in honor of Maria's life. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 6368 E. US 24, Monticello, Indiana 47960 C/O Tinkle Family.
