Ruby L. Davis, 89, of Brookston, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette.

She was born January 17, 1928 in Brookston to the late Paul and Lillian (Thone) Shultz and was a 1946 graduate of Buck Creek High School.

Her marriage was to Paul L. Davis on June 26, 1948 in Delphi, Indiana; he preceded her in death on August 8, 1986.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. Later in life she did work for Walmart for 11 years both in Florida and Lafayette, IN.

Ruby loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed moving with her husband while he worked as a truck driver.

Surviving are two sons, Larry D. Davis (wife: Stella) of Richmond, IN and Robert A. Davis (wife: Bertha) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Jason, Lori, Benjamin and Susan; several great grandchildren and two nephews, Ron Shultz (wife: Mary Ann) and Jerry Shultz (wife: Marge), and many cousins.

Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are brother, John Shultz, and two sisters Ethel Kindel and Dorothy Armistead.

A memorial service with interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Brookston to be held at a later date.
