Emory Murrell Lock Jr., 89, of Monon, went to be with our heavenly father at 6:30 PM, November 25, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East of Lafayette.

He was born October 8, 1928 in Morocco, IN to the late Emory M. Lock Sr. and Della Mae (Denham) Lock.

Emory worked for the Monon Railroad, now CSX for 35 years until his retirement.

Surviving are children, William (Tonia Jo) Lock, Larry (Dana) Lock, and Mary (Bob) Willoughby; sisters, Pearl Glenn, and Violet Spoor. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is his wife, June; children, Eugene Lock, Mable May, and Joyce Ann; grandson, John Wilson.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
