Marjorie Ella Hofstetter, 90, passed away at 8:47 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at White Oaks Health Campus in Monticello, IN, formerly of Wolcott, IN.

 

She was born on September 28, 1927, in Carroll County, IN to the late Charles Dana and Sylvia Levina Boyd Deardorff.

 

Marjorie was a member of the Wolcott Apostolic Christian Church of Wolcott, IN.

She enjoyed spending time fishing and camping with her grandson in his early years. She enjoyed wildlife and in the past raised pheasants and quail. She also enjoyed worshiping God with her church family and friends.

 

Surviving are her sister, Lona Helvie of Pittsburg, IN; grandson, Scott Jacobsma of Monon, IN; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lechleidner- 1958; daughter, Sharon Jacobsma-1981; husband, Andrew Hofstetter-1993, and a sister, Wanda Robinson.

 

Friends may call from 5-8 PM (EST) Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. Funeral service 10:30 AM (EST) Monday, November 20, 2017 at Wolcott Apostolic Christian Church. Interment will follow in Chalmers Cemetery.
