Joseph L. Shultz, 39, of Lafayette, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Monday, September 4, 2017. He had been battling pancreatic cancer.

He was born June 12, 1978 in Lafayette to Vicki (Summers) Shultz and the late Royce Shultz and attended Lafayette Jefferson High School.

Joe loved his friends and family and would do anything for them. He would repair everyone’s vehicles and just enjoyed spending time with them.

He was an employee of Condos and Son’s Auto Parts in Monticello for several years.

Surviving is his mother, Vicki Gifford and his brothers, Adam (Ashley) Shultz, Toby Shultz, John Budd and Cody Budd; his grandmother, Barbara Summers; a nephew, Elijah Shultz and his nieces, Lilly and Isabella Shultz.

Preceding him in death is his father, Royce Shultz; his paternal grandparents, John and Maxine Shultz; his maternal grandfather, Joe Summers and 3 unborn infant children.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Lighthouse Baptist Church (1730 East 430 South Lafayette, IN); Pastor Bill Murdock to officiate.
