Leona M. Stoller, 91, of Wolcott, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at White Oaks Health Campus of Monticello.

  She was born April 24, 1926 in Fountain County, Indiana to the late Roy J. and Ada Bell (Tombs) Bowley and was a 1945 graduate of Wadena High School where she was one of eight in the class.

  Her marriage was to Ervin L. Stoller on September 3, 1949 in Fowler, Indiana.  The wife of a farmer, Leona was a proud homemaker.  The couple were longtime members of the Wolcott Baptist Church where she was on the Missionary Board.  She was also past secretary/treasurer for the Council of Churches in Wolcott.  Ervin preceded her in death on March 15, 1983, after which she began working at Dwyer Instrument in Wolcott until retiring in 2010.

  Leona served on the Wolcott 4th of July committee for over 40 years and was the 2013 Grand Marshall of the Wolcott Summer Festival.  She held many positions on the White County Election Board including committee member and judge. 

  Always the hard worker, she enjoyed spending time mowing the yard, her time spent at work and with her co-workers and volunteering at church and community activities.

   Surviving are her children, Ronald E. Stoller (wife: Shirley) of Reynolds, Gary L. Stoller (wife: Diane) of Wolcott and Tami Parrish (husband: Dave) of Monticello.  Leona loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, Kurt Stoller (wife: Brenda), Jason Stoller, Tricia Fultz (husband: David), Chad Parrish, Todd Stoller (wife: Darci), Jeff Stoller (wife: Amber), Tina Gallinger (husband: Doug) and Dustin Parrish.  Also surviving are her 15 great-grandchildren.

  Preceding her in death with her parents and husband are her siblings, Homer Bowley, Raymond Bowley, Dorothy Coon, Betty Littleton and Bill Bowley.

  Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12 p.m. (Noon) Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Wolcott Baptist Church (304 W. Johnson, Wolcott); Pastor Keith Rogers to officiate.  Interment to follow in the Wolcott Apostolic Church Cemetery.

  Memorials may be made in her name to the Wolcott Council of Churches or the Wolcott Food Pantry.
