Pauline E. Robinson, 88, of Remington, passed away at 9:25 AM, May 27, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East of Lafayette.

She was born May 12, 1929 in Fowler, IN to the late Leo and Minnie (Windler) Ringle. Pauline was a 1947 graduate of Fowler High School.

Pauline married Duane W. Robinson on August 25, 1951 in Fowler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2009. They were married for 58 years.

Pauline was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Remington, a member of the Alter and Rosary Society at Sacred Heart, and has been honored as Rosarian of the year.

Pauline and her husband owned and operated R&R Drive-In of Remington for several years. She also worked in the cafeteria at Tri-County School Corporation for 16 years.

She was very devoted to her faith and volunteered at many church functions. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and tending to her flowers. Most of all, Pauline loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by sons, Michael (Belinda) Robinson of Rensselaer, Ronald (Sue) Robinson of Remington, and Scott (Katie) Robinson of Brookston; siblings, Don (Sandy) Ringle of Fowler, Kenny (Tish) Ringle of Fowler, Velma Reed of Lafayette, Dorene (George) Cope of Bremen, and a sister-in-law, Shelby Ringle of Fowler.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Robinson, CJ (Elaina) Robinson, Jenna (Jeff) McDole, Clifford (Jessica) Robinson, Trent (Alicia) Robinson, and Nolin Robinson; great-grandchildren, Tyler Robinson, Cole Robinson, Molly Robinson, Madeline Robinson, Quinn McDole, Jack McDole, Ruby Robinson, Beck Erickson, and Grace Erickson.

Preceding her in death along with her husband and parents are two brothers, Herman and Vernon Ringle.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM (EST) Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington with Rosary starting at 3:45 PM. Funeral Mass 11 AM (EST) Friday, June 2, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington. Fr. Paul Hudson to officiate. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pauline’s name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Remington.
