Todd E. Hathaway, 41, of Remington, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 1, 2017 at IU Health Paoli Hospital of Paoli, IN. He was born June 6, 1975 in Logansport, IN to Ronald G. and Marjean M. (Knochel) Hathaway. He was a 1993 graduate of Tri-County High School.

 

His marriage was to Mellissa K. O’Neil on March 16, 1996 in Remington at the United Methodist Church. Todd was a lifelong resident of Remington.

 

Todd was involved with coaching youth basketball and softball for several years. He also was a member and supporter of Future Farmers of America and 4-H.

 

Todd enjoyed spending his time farming and showing pigs at the county fair. He also enjoyed all sports, especially basketball and football. Most of all, Todd loved spending time with his family and friends. Todd will be remembered for his contagious smile, always putting others before himself, and his nickname, “Happy”.

 

Surviving along with his parents and wife are children, Miranda Hathaway of Remington, Logan and Kolby Hathaway of Remington. He is also survived by a brother, Ryan Hathaway of Lexington, KY.

 

Friends may call from 3-8 (EST) Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Remington United Methodist Church. Funeral Service 11 AM (EST) Thursday, April 6, 2017 also at Remington United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in Remington Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Smith of Remington United Methodist Church to officiate.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in Todd’s name to the Todd Hathaway Memorial Fund for use at a later date.
