Mary L. Kilgus, 86, of Remington, passed away peacefully at 7:15 PM, January 19, 2017 at Parkview Haven Nursing Home of Francesville. She was born in Wolcott, IN on March 9, 1930 to the late Samuel and Elsie (Beckley) Kilgus.

She was a 1948 graduate of Gilboa High School. Mary lived in Remington and moved to Parkview Haven in August of 2016.

She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Remington. Mary worked for Dean Foods of Lafayette for over 40 years. Mary is survived by her sisters, Alta Kilgus of Remington, and Esther (Walter) Bahler of Remington; six nieces and nephews, Keith (Libby) Leman, Jane (Don) Wiegand, Jean (Gary) Compton, Sharon (Alan) Martin, Scott Bahler, and Kristine (Keith) Steidinger. She is also survived by 17 great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are sisters, Emily Kilgus, and Edna Leman.

Friends may call from 3-7 PM (EST) Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Remington. Funeral Service at 10:30 AM (EST) Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Church of Remington ( 16448 S. US 231 Remington, IN 47977) . Ministers of the Church to officiate. Interment to follow in Remington Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
