Edwin J. Reed, 70, of Monon, passed away at 5:57 AM, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Monticello Healthcare. He was born May 10, 1946 in Monon, IN to the late Roy G. and Matilda (Woosley) Reed. He attended Monon High School. Edwin served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Edwin worked for several years as a construction worker for various companies. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Edwin is survived by his children, Brian Carter and Eddie Reed Jr. He is also survived by his sister, Marian Monnett and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
