Mabel R. Adams, 92, of Wolcott died at 5:14 pm, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Cumberland Pointe, West Lafayette. She was born July 21, 1922 in Paoli to the late Bloomer and Minnie (Apple) Gobel. She graduated from Paoli High School. Mabel married the love of her life, John F. Adams on February 23, 1946. John preceded her in death on May 7, 2010. Throughout her life Mabel lived in Paolia, Monticello, Remington, and Wolcott. She worked for several years at the Ribbon Factory in Wolcott and enjoyed working at her daughters flower shop, Nesius Flowers in Wolcott. Mabel loved flowers and enjoyed square dancing, playing euchre, traveling, and sightseeing. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and cherished every moment spent with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Diana L. Nesius (husband: Tom) of Remington and Linda K. Cyr (husband: Jim) of Fowler; 6 grandchildren, Brett, Bart, and Jason Nesius, Jennifer Porter, Brian Cyr, Carrie Hopf; 16 great grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Nesius, Bryce and Braden Nesius, Cicily and Wrigley Porter, Josh, Jessica, Rachel, and Eric Cyr, Benjamin and Brittany Hopf, Jackson, Jonny, Lauren, and Leah Nesius. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Nesius, son-in-law, Bruce A. Nesius, 4 brothers Chelsea, Clyde, Raymond, Howard; a sister, Josephine. Friends may call from 9:00 am (CST) until time of service at 11:00 am (CST), Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Trinity Methodist Church in Rensselaer. Pastor John Hostetter officiating. Interment to follow at Westin Cemetery in Rensselaer. Memorial contributions may be given in Mabel's name to St. Elizabeth Hospice.
