Laura E. Danner, 95, of Chalmers, died at 10:15 p.m., August 5, 2013 at White Oaks Health Campus of Monticello. She was born on August 10, 1917 in Adrian, Michigan to the late James and Nettie (Bruner) Harris. She attended Chalmers High School. Her marriage was to Claude R. Danner on August 15, 1933 in Fowler, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1980. She was a homemaker and loved sewing. She also enjoyed spending many winters in Florida. She is survived by her children: Gordon R. Danner (wife: Donna) of Lafayette, Wayne Danner of Chalmers, and Carole Kerr of West Lafayette. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband is a son, Roger Danner. Friends may call from 10 a.m. - 11 a .m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston, IN with Graveside Service immediately following at Chalmers Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
